My Journey to the Pro stage....after the fourth baby

The greatest tragedy of man is never realizing or reaching his full potential~"Dont TALK about it,BE about it!"

WELCOME to my blogspot! I am utilizing this space as a journal of sorts, where my workouts as well as random thoughts are posted....

Now that I have a few good Pro shows under my belt,I am in "off season" until 2013,due to the VERY unexpected news of my 4th child!! In the meantime, I will be keeping a journal of how a pro athlete reclaims her pre-baby body and juggles fitness and family. I am planning a Pro show just a few months after the baby arrives, as well as gearing up to hit new PR's for 5k's,half and full marathons! My ultimate goal is to simply get better with age....(and hopefully snag an IFBB pro card and break 19 min in a 5k in the process)so come follow me on my crazy journey to the Pro-Stage and Beyond... after a fourth child!!Feel free to leave any comments or advice!

sick day

yup, more sickies in the house. i knew i wasnt feeling good yesterday, and apperently niether was my 4yr old.
we were pukey sick last night, and i am hoping the boys and baby dont catch the bug!!!!
ran out of Lysol,so i will do my best to disinfect until i get some more later today.
i would hate it the other kids got this, but it would take a miracle for them not to.

seems like every time i start feeling a good roll in the gym, somebody gets sick....
even though me and A are feeling better today, still taking 2 days off from the gym.
dont want to be one of those moms who bring in their kids who, although are feeling better, still might be contagious.

yes,im a germ-a-phobe,but i guess even i am prone to have a bug sneak by me?
crossing my fingers no one else gets it!!!

anyone want to get in some 400 repeats for me today?

  2. Oh no! I HATE that bug and it just seems to circulate this time of the year. Your poor family! I hope you and your daughter feel better!

  3. have you ever thought about how being too clean can actually have one get sick more than if a person is allowed to build up resistance to germs? Just a thought!

  4. thanks yall! and @ holly, yes, ive heard about what you mentioned.(my mom says the same thing!) im just too chicken(paranoid) to not be a germ-a-phobe when it comes to the throw up stuff. im not 100% OCD about it(yet),but lets just say that my kids know better than to touch the grocery cart before i wipe it down with sanitizing wipies...
