My Journey to the Pro stage....after the fourth baby

The greatest tragedy of man is never realizing or reaching his full potential~"Dont TALK about it,BE about it!"

WELCOME to my blogspot! I am utilizing this space as a journal of sorts, where my workouts as well as random thoughts are posted....

Now that I have a few good Pro shows under my belt,I am in "off season" until 2013,due to the VERY unexpected news of my 4th child!! In the meantime, I will be keeping a journal of how a pro athlete reclaims her pre-baby body and juggles fitness and family. I am planning a Pro show just a few months after the baby arrives, as well as gearing up to hit new PR's for 5k's,half and full marathons! My ultimate goal is to simply get better with age....(and hopefully snag an IFBB pro card and break 19 min in a 5k in the process)so come follow me on my crazy journey to the Pro-Stage and Beyond... after a fourth child!!Feel free to leave any comments or advice!

plyo day!!

yup, plyos are back, and WOW i FELT SO OUT OF SHAPE doing these!
note to self:
*NEVER go 2 months without doing plyos, cause it sucks getting back in the routine again!*
the only good part about todays workout (other than finishing without puking)
is that i had 2 other gals to do this with. misery loves company i guess!
:)
the workout:
cycle 1:(30 seconds each exercise,no rest between exercises)
box jump
blurpies
ski lunge
lateral sprints
REST 1 minute
cycle 2:
lateral box jumps
mountain climbers
lateral lunge
gazzelle bounds
REST 1 minute
cycle 3:
jump lunge
sumo squat with explosive jump
jump tucks
jump rope
REST 1 minute
REPEAT 3x

ended with
3x15 hip abd
hip add
hip sled

and 30 minutes running on the TM while my legs were feeling jello. only got 3.4 miles in...bleh!

BUT im glad i started these back up again. just 17 more times to do them before steeping on the stage!
AND speed work starts up this week...whoooooooo-hoooooooo!
don't know how much am cardio i can get in this week on account of still very little sleep. i can get bu without that much morning cardio for now but will really have to pick it up in about 8 weeks.i WILL run, regardless of how little sleep i have...

anyways, hope all are having a great day!

  8. thanks yall!
    and @melissa....
dailey eats are pretty boring-following something simular to body for life-have a complex carb with a lean protien at every meal,i eat 5-6x a day, smaller meals, drink lots of water,100oz or more.....hmmmm,maybe i should write a nutrition post soon?
    anyways,thoe are the basics!
    thanks for stopping by,btw!
